About The Position

This position is for a Wing PackOut Jack Driver Operator on the 1st Shift. Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on the shift posted. The role requires availability for overtime and weekends if needed. The work environment is cold and damp, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. The jobs are fast-paced and involve repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs, while Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. The role involves constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks will be provided and is required for qualification within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 months of operator experience (can be a combination of employers).
  • Ability to label, organize, and align pallets in a cooler.
  • Willingness and ability to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
  • Must accept work in a cold and damp environment (28 to 42 degrees).
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motion.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40+ lbs (or 70+ lbs for Material Handling and Receiving positions).
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: If previously employed at Tyson, there is a 180-day waiting period before reapplying. Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
