About The Position

The Seasonal Wine Merchandiser helps ensure wine and spirits products are received accurately, stocked on shelves, displayed attractively, and available to customers. The role also supports inventory, store moves, deliveries, store cleanliness, and other areas of the store as needed. Merchandisers assist customers with product locations and basic wine pairings, and may operate equipment such as hand trucks, u-boats, conveyors, and forklifts where necessary. The season runs from mid-October to the end of December. The position pays $17.00 per hour and requires applicants to be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Check in products and sign off on purchase orders as deliveries arrive, ensuring accuracy.
• Stock shelves and build attractive displays safely.
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks, u-boats, conveyors, and forklifts where necessary.
• Assist with inventory and store moves.
• Ensure products are placed correctly in stores and help keep the store clean.
• Know the store’s exclusive and focus items.
• Be able to operate the register and cover other areas of the store.
• Help customers locate products and provide basic wine-pairing assistance.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and offer assistance where needed.
• Follow safety procedures and represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values positively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
