About The Position

Bern's Steak House is seeking entry-level Wine Cellar Associates to maintain the warehouse and wine cellar. This role involves cleaning, organizing, sorting, and ensuring the care and accuracy of the cellar in a busy environment. Experience is not required for this position.

Requirements

Attention to detail.
Must be able to lift 25+ pounds.
Follow sanitation policies and cleanliness.
Must work well with others and communicate.
Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner.
Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting.

Nice To Haves

Studying for and level Sommelier certification.
Opportunities to taste and receive education from tenured staff.

Responsibilities

Give tours of the wine cellar.
Locate bottles within the extensive wine collection.
Polish glasses.
Keep the cellar and warehouse organized, clean, and safe.
Restock wines depleted from the previous day with inventory from a nearby warehouse location.
Climb ladders in both the warehouse and the cellar.
Maintain a clean work station throughout the entire shift.
