About The Position
SMX is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support our NAWCAD customer at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The successful candidate will manage and troubleshoot the operating systems and applications on end-user devices and servers in a lab environment and will work directly with the ISSO and cybersecurity team to maintain secure, compliant operations.
Requirements
- Clearance Required: Top Secret
- 3+ years of experience
- Must have thorough troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting the latest Windows end user devices and servers
- Experience with compliance assurance including apply STIGs, patches, and scanning for accreditation efforts
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and support
- Security+ or other IAT Level II (or higher) certification
Nice To Haves
- Linux-based systems administration experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree is strongly desired
