About The Position

SAIC is hiring a Windows System Administrator to be located in Pensacola, FL. This position requires the ability to assist with the architectural, engineering, and administration of Windows infrastructure, as well as participate in the change process and incident response processes. The Windows System Administrator will provide desktop support of Windows 11 workstations in a Microsoft Active Directory environment. Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025 (virtual and physical servers), management of VMware virtual environments and virtual networking (virtual distributed switches), and basic networking support including troubleshooting are key responsibilities. The role involves system patching using WSUS and MECM, conducting system backups and restoral with VEEAM, and verifying system vulnerability and configuration compliance with Security Center / Nessus scans and DISA STIG checklists using tools like Eval-STIG. Outage resolution of information system issues documented in Service Now, system automation through PowerShell scripting & MECM, and providing input for life cycle management are also part of the role. Additionally, the position requires performing routine and non-routine tasks associated with Cyber/Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) support in accordance with National and DoD standards, including RMF and Zero Trust. This includes conducting systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, security needs, and user functional requirements. The role also involves interacting with the engineering management team and senior customer personnel on matters requiring cross-organizational coordination.

Requirements
