About The Position

Puget Sound Territory – Construction Supplies/Building Supplies Our client's company specializes in providing top-tier construction and building supplies, catering to a diverse clientele that includes residential and commercial builders, as well as architectural professionals. They are rapidly expanding their sales force in the south Puget Sound area, driven by an aggressive growth strategy and commitment to being the best in the industry. As a Windows/Doors Outside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by finding and closing new business opportunities. This is a true hunter role, requiring proactive outreach, lead generation, and relationship building. You will leverage your expertise in the construction marketplace to connect with custom home builders, architects, and other key decision-makers, delivering exceptional solutions tailored to their needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction supply sales, preferably windows and doors.
  • Expertise in working with custom home builders and architects; ability to effectively call on and close deals with these professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction marketplace and supply chain processes.
  • High-level sales experience in B2B environments; not focused on B2C.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and skilled in working independently to meet ambitious sales goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Builder Trend or similar CRM/sales software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and proactively identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with custom home builders, architects, and contractors.
  • Educate clients on the company’s window and door products, focusing on styles, types, and market applications.
  • Penetrate the architectural market and drive sales in both residential and commercial sectors.
  • Leverage software tools such as MS Office Suite and Builder Trend for customer management and sales reporting.
  • Develop strategic approaches to selling higher-end products in a competitive marketplace.
