About The Position

Allpro Staffing & Consulting is seeking an experienced Windows Administrator for our client in Albany, New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Windows server administration, application infrastructure, security, system integration, troubleshooting, and technical support within enterprise environments.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience working with agencies and business areas to understand business requirements and translate them into technical and security infrastructure requirements, resulting in architecture design documentation covering: Data flows, System interfaces, Authentication, Infrastructure requirements
• 7 years of experience as a Server Administrator at the Application Layer, performing installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and L3 technical support for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and business applications on Windows platforms, including: Windows OS, IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic, Certificate Services, Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect
• 7 years of experience providing L3 analytical and technical support for COTS/business application interfaces and system interconnects, including: Networks, Stealth firewall software, F5, Load balancing, Connectivity troubleshooting and resolution
• 5 years of experience providing L3 analytical and technical support for COTS/business applications using tools such as Splunk for: Log analysis, System monitoring, System performance tuning
• 2 years of experience with scripting and automation using: PowerShell, WMI, Other scripting languages for application maintenance and administration

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows-based application environments.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain COTS and business applications.
• Provide L3 technical and analytical support for application and infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot system interfaces, network connectivity, firewalls, F5/load balancing, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor applications and systems using Splunk and perform log analysis and performance tuning.
• Support authentication technologies, including Active Directory, SAML 2.0 SSO, and OpenID Connect.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture and infrastructure documentation.
• Use PowerShell, WMI, and other scripting tools to automate administrative and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues.
