Window and Door Installation Subcontractor (1099)
About The Position
Next Door & Window is seeking a replacement window and door installation subcontractor in Madison, WI. The subcontractor will partner with Costco Warehouses and Marvin Windows and lead a two-person crew or larger. The role requires a proven record of quality craftsmanship and customer service, and availability for at least three days per week, Monday through Saturday. Subcontractors provide competitive labor rates for the work performed. Requirements
- At least three years of experience in window and door installation.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment, resolve issues, and support fellow crew members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Previous work references.
- Ownership of a truck, van, or trailer and the required tools.
- Certificate of Insurance with the stated coverage minimums: General Liability ($2 million aggregate, $2 million products and completed operations, $1 million per occurrence, and $1 million personal advertising injury); automobile liability ($1 million combined single limit); Workman's Compensation ($500k-$500k-$500k); and umbrella or excess liability ($5 million).
- Certified Lead Renovator Certificate.
Responsibilities
- Execute window and door installations with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate job updates and information to the main office.
- Collaborate with team members to problem-solve and ensure seamless installations.
- Take initiative to resolve job-site challenges and deliver high-quality results.
- Lead a crew of two or more installers.
- Maintain availability for a minimum of three days per week, Monday through Saturday.
- Provide competitive labor rates for the work performed.
