Window and Door Installation Subcontractor (1099)
About The Position
Next Door & Window is seeking a replacement window and door installation subcontractor in St. Louis, Missouri. The subcontractor will partner on projects with Costco Warehouses and Marvin Windows and lead a two-person crew or larger. The role calls for careful installation work, strong customer service, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to solve job-site challenges. Subcontractors must be available at least three days per week, Monday through Saturday, and provide competitive labor rates. The position requires at least three years of window and door installation experience, a valid driver’s license, work references, ownership of a truck, van, or trailer and required tools, specified insurance coverage, and a Certified Lead Renovator Certificate. Requirements
- At least three years of experience in window and door installation.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment, resolve issues, and support fellow crew members.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous work references.
- Ownership of a truck, van, or trailer and required tools.
- Certificate of Insurance with stated minimums: General Liability—$2 million aggregate, $2 million products and completed operations, $1 million per occurrence, and $1 million personal advertising injury; Automobile Liability—$1 million combined single limit; Workers’ Compensation—$500k-$500k-$500k; Umbrella or Excess Liability—$5 million.

Responsibilities
- Execute window and door installations with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate job updates and information to the main office.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and support seamless installations.
- Take initiative to resolve job-site challenges and deliver high-quality results.
- Lead a two-person crew or larger.
- Maintain availability for at least three days a week, Monday through Saturday.
- Provide competitive labor rates for the work performed.
