About The Position
The Winder Operator is responsible for winding film capacitor sections using automatic winding machines. The role involves setting up and operating winders, monitoring production quality, and supporting the flow of sections to the next operation.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Good attendance record.
- Ability to perform full-body movement.
- Good eyesight.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders to determine the correct setup.
- Plan workload to keep up with production lines.
- Set up and operate winders.
- Monitor winders to consistently produce a quality product.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
- Deliver sections to the next operation and update the computer.
- Keep the work area neat and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
