About The Position

This position is for a Winder Operator C. The objective is to learn the fundamentals of the process while assisting machine operators. The role also requires maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The position requires consistent, dependable attendance and a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours. The operator must be capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good oral /written communication skills
• Computing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist adjoining line if necessary
• Maintain equipment, notifying supervisor or Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention
• Slab rolls, load scrap unwinder, and grind scrap
• Quality testing / data entry
• Overtime as required
• Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
• Any supplemental responsibilities as determined by supervision
