About The Position

Resource Group is seeking a dependable Winder Helper to assist with the winding, repair, and assembly of industrial electric motors and related equipment. This is a hands-on position supporting experienced winders and technicians with shop operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work in a hands-on industrial shop environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work with your hands for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required.
Ability to work around industrial equipment while following all applicable safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

Previous industrial, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced winders with the winding and rewinding of electric motors and related equipment.
Prepare materials, tools, and equipment needed for winding and repair work.
Assist with removing and installing coils, wire, insulation, and related components.
Measure, cut, and handle wire and other materials according to job requirements.
Assist with disassembly, cleaning, assembly, and general shop activities.
Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Support technicians and other shop personnel as directed.
Perform other duties related to motor repair and shop operations as assigned.
