Windchill Interface Specialist
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Interface Specialist to design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. The specialist will own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape, applying hands-on Windchill integration expertise and knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and PLM-to-ERP data flows. The role works closely with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions. The specialist is also expected to contribute through code and design reviews and mentorship of more junior engineers, while delivering production-ready work with strong engineering discipline and clear communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of PLM integration experience, with a strong focus on Windchill.
- Hands-on experience with InfoEngine and the Windchill Java API.
- Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Windchill data model.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- PTC Windchill certifications.
- Experience with ThingWorx or IIoT integration.
- Exposure to API management platforms.
- Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns.
- Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.
Responsibilities
