Wildlife Technician
About The Position
Varment Guard is seeking full-time Wildlife Technicians in the Dayton, OH area to join their team. This role involves preventing, managing, and removing nuisance animals from homes, buildings, and surrounding areas. The technician will identify potential issues, conduct inspections, design management strategies, and work directly with customers using various products, protocols, and methods. The position requires a friendly disposition, respectful customer interaction, creativity, thoroughness, and a commitment to quality results and customer satisfaction. Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 + years old
- Ability to meet physical requirements and work on ladders and/or rooftops
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Wildlife Management or applicable degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Preventing, managing, and/or removing nuisance animals (such as raccoons, squirrels, opossums, skunks, groundhogs, etc.) that inhabit homes, buildings, and surrounding areas.
