About The Position

At Varment Guard, our technicians do more than remove nuisance animals. They solve problems and help customers feel safe in their own homes. As a Wildlife Technician, you'll manage your own territory, provide humane wildlife control services, and build strong customer relationships. This role services Holland, MI and the surrounding areas. Training Pay is $22.00 - $24.00 Per Hour + Uncapped Earning Potential Through Sales Incentives! Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Requirements

Friendly, respectful disposition with customers
Ability to work on ladders and rooftops on a regular basis, along with other physical demands of the role.
Self-starter who thrives working independently
Patient, detail-oriented, and proud of your work
Comfortable with physical work, including regular work on ladders and rooftops, and outdoor conditions
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Degree in Wildlife Management or related field

Responsibilities

Prevent, manage, and remove nuisance animals (raccoons, squirrels, opossums, skunks, groundhogs, and more) from homes, buildings, and surrounding areas
Conduct inspections and design management strategies, including work on ladders and rooftops to access problem areas
Build strong customer relationships
Perform repair work on homes to seal entry points and prevent future wildlife intrusion
Use a range of products, protocols, and methods to remove nuisance wildlife
Work in indoor and outdoor conditions, comfortably navigating ladders and rooftop access as a regular part of the job
