The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is responsible for managing and protecting the state's renewable natural resources, including all wildlife and aquatic life. LDWF supports a strong work ethic in its employees and incorporates the use of good science, accurate information and technology. The incumbent will provide the enforcement patrol component in support of major programs for fish, game, wildlife, ecosystem and boating safety regulations for the protections and sustainability of wildlife/fisheries resources and public safety; and, to serve as a parish coordinator for enforcement operational/patrol within an assigned district or statewide specialized enforcement unit. Applicants with prior Wildlife Enforcement experience and POST certification are strongly encouraged to apply. This position is domiciled in Natchitoches Parish.
