WRA's Compliance Monitoring Team is seeking a full-time Wildlife Biologist to join their team. This role involves leading and managing a team in support of construction projects throughout permit implementation. Responsibilities include managing field staff, training and mentoring junior biologists, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position also supports bidding on projects in the construction phase and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must reside within approximately 45 minutes of a Northern California office (San Rafael, Petaluma, or Emeryville) and will work part-time at one of these offices. The role is seasonally field-based, requiring on-site presence throughout Northern California at varying times for compliance monitoring, field surveys, and meetings. Peak construction is typically from June to November, requiring two to three days of field work per week, with potential for night and/or weekend work. Scheduling flexibility is available from December to April.
