JOHN The Wildlife Technician A-C positions will be in Hammond/St. John the Baptist/Joyce, Manchac, Maurepas Swamp WMAs This position is a Wildlife and Fisheries Technician A-C Career Progression Group position that receives direct supervision from a Wildlife and Fisheries Technician Supervisor based in the Hammond field office and will perform daily operations primarily on WMAs within region, and elsewhere as needed. This position is expected to regularly travel to other WMAs within the region, often with overnight stay. This position requires the physical ability to operate boats, ATV/UTVs, tractors, motor-grader, and other heavy equipment, handle 50 pound sacks of fertilizer, work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and nights, and may be subject to 24-hour call.
