Temporary Wikipedian In Residence
About The Position
Annual Reviews, a nonprofit organization supporting the research community and benefiting society, seeks an enthusiastic Wikipedian-in-Residence (WIR) for a Part-Time, Temporary position working up to 10 hours per week for up to a 3-week period beginning in August 3, 2026. Candidates must reside in one of the following states where Annual Reviews is registered to do business: CA, CO, GA, HI, IL, IN, MA, MN, NC, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, WA, or WI. Responsibilities include updating existing Wikipedia pages and preparing draft pages for community review. We are currently seeking applicants with a scientific background along with: � Experience editing Wikipedia or writing for other public knowledge efforts � Excellent written and verbal English communication skills All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
