About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Material Handler to support the safe and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility. In this role, you will receive incoming shipments, organize inventory, pull orders and operate material handling equipment to help keep production moving.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate a forklift.
Ability to use a computer system to track inventory.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
Familiarity with basic computer operations.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals.
Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to follow all safety procedures.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Experience working in a production or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment.
Prepare and break down incoming shipments and verify them for accuracy.
Put products away in the correct inventory locations.
Accurately pull orders using paper or electronic order information.
Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move products to designated areas.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including sweeping, mopping and emptying trash.
Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and completing job duties.
