About The Position
The Wide Format Printing Operator is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of wide format digital printing and cutting machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality print jobs according to specified requirements and timelines.
Requirements
- Previous commercial printing experience required; wide format printing/cutting experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and basic computer skills.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to quality with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Positive and proactive attitude towards both external and internal customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wide format printers and cutters (Agfa, Zund).
- Set up materials and jobs per specifications.
- Monitor quality and equipment performance.
- Complete production records and job tracking in Pace.
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain a clean workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with production needs.
