The WIC Receptionist is responsible for greeting clients, managing appointments, collecting demographic information, performing income and identity checks, answering telephones, generating WIC benefits, issuing EBT cards, and directing clients to appropriate staff. This role also involves assisting with health screenings, entering data into MIWIC and EMR systems, determining immunization status, providing basic breastfeeding education, translating if bilingual, maintaining a stocked workstation, and performing outreach activities to maintain WIC caseload.
