The role also involves referring participants to other services, tracking progress, ensuring efficient assessment and education processes, and providing leadership in planning, conducting, and evaluating nutrition education services and training for staff. A key aspect of the role is providing and documenting Participant Centered Nutrition Assessment (PCNA) core competencies during counseling, utilizing a participant-centered approach.
