About The Position

The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras's Women, Infants & Children Program is looking to hire a bilingual Spanish speaking (Preferable) front desk Nutrition Aide who is friendly, reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic about helping others. Our Nutrition Assistant will be the first point of contact greeting participants either by phone or in person at various Women, Infants & Children, WIC sites. Our Aide will travel three days a week with other staff to off sites, in Calaveras and Amador counties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Minimum one-year office experience handling multi-line phone system
• Basic knowledge of computer including word processing, spreadsheets, email and Internet use
• Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
• Criminal record clearance
• Successfully complete 40 hours of breastfeeding training within three months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Willingness to work irregular hours

Responsibilities

• Greet participants either by phone or in person at various Women, Infants & Children, WIC sites.
• Travel three days a week with other staff to off sites, in Calaveras and Amador counties.
• Travel between agency locations in Calaveras and Amador Counties and out-of-area, year-round, under all weather conditions.
• Attend night meetings as required by the organization.
