WIC Certifier/Clerk
About The Position
TCCH is growing and actively recruiting WIC Certifiers / Clerks to join our Care Team within the Pasco WIC, Behavioral Health, and Dental Care site. We are seeking passionate, driven individuals who align with our values of Quality, Respect, and Service, and are eager to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our patients through delivery of exceptional care. Our WIC staff are responsible for assessing women who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, infants, and children under five (5) years of age for eligibility to participate in the WIC program. WIC staff provide customer service and care to clients and perform support services as directed by the WIC program.
Requirements
- Current WA State driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum one (1) year work experience within a healthcare facility
- Have or obtain Medical Assistant Registration certification within three (3) months of hire
- Proficient in English and another language (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or other) required
Responsibilities
- Assessing women who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, infants, and children under five (5) years of age for eligibility to participate in the WIC program.
- Provide customer service and care to clients.
- Perform support services as directed by the WIC program.
