About The Position
Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) is seeking passionate, driven individuals to join their Care Team as WIC Certifiers/Clerks. This role involves assessing the eligibility of pregnant and/or breastfeeding women, infants, and children under five for the WIC program. WIC staff provide customer service and support services as directed by the WIC program, aligning with TCCH's core values of Quality, Respect, and Service.
Requirements
- Current WA State driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum one (1) year work experience within a healthcare facility
- Have or obtain Medical Assistant Registration certification within three (3) months of hire
- Proficient in English and another language (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or other) required
Responsibilities
- Assessing women who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, infants, and children under five (5) years of age for eligibility to participate in the WIC program.
- Provide customer service and care to clients.
- Perform support services as directed by the WIC program.
