About The Position

The Wholesaler - Edward Jones Channel serves as a consultative insurance sales professional responsible for driving life insurance sales growth, advisor engagement, and business development within assigned Edward Jones territories. This role proactively creates opportunities, influences advisor behavior, leads planning conversations, and manages opportunities from discovery through policy placement. Position is totally remote work from home.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years successful life insurance sales experience
  • Active Life and Health Insurance License
  • Demonstrated sales success and quota attainment
  • Strong understanding of insurance planning concepts

Nice To Haves

  • Internal wholesaling or Insurance Strategist experience
  • FINRA registrations preferred
  • Experience supporting financial advisors or Edward Jones distribution

Responsibilities

  • Proactively drive insurance sales opportunities within assigned Edward Jones territories.
  • Build and deepen relationships with financial advisors to increase insurance awareness, activity, and production.
  • Lead client and advisor discovery conversations to identify insurance planning opportunities.
  • Own opportunities from initial identification through application, underwriting, and placement.
  • Achieve advisor activation, pipeline progression, revenue growth, and production goals.
  • Partner with internal teams to execute and place business efficiently.
  • Maintain CRM records and sales activity metrics.
