About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience processing wholesale automotive title transactions, dealer trades, title corrections, and out-of-state title work. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, knowledge of title regulations, and the ability to manage a high-volume title workload in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Requirements
- Automotive dealership title experience required.
- Previous wholesale title processing experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Dealer Trades
- Knowledge of Wholesale Title Processing
- Knowledge of Out-of-State Titling
- Knowledge of Export Transactions
- Knowledge of Title Corrections
- Knowledge of DMV Procedures
- Experience with dealership software such as: CVR
- Experience with dealership software such as: DLRdmv
- Experience with dealership software such as: Reynolds & Reynolds
- Experience with dealership software such as: TitleTec
- Basic understanding of dealership accounting processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and transactions simultaneously.
- Experience handling large volumes of wholesale title transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Comfortable working independently, prioritizing deadlines, and communicating effectively with internal departments and outside agencies.
Responsibilities
- Process all wholesale title transactions from start to finish.
- Prepare and submit title documentation for wholesale vehicle sales.
- Process dealer trade title work accurately and timely.
- Research and resolve title discrepancies, missing documentation, and title defects.
- Process tag transfers and DMV-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Track title inventory and follow up on outstanding title issues.
- Communicate with auctions, dealerships, lenders, and state agencies regarding title status.
- Maintain organized title records and documentation.
- Assist with retail title processing as needed.
