Wholesale Delivery Driver
About The Position
South Mountain Creamery is a family-owned dairy farm that bottles its own milk and makes its own butter and ice cream. Since 2001, we have been providing home deliveries to the DMV area, growing to become the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the region. We are currently seeking a Wholesale Delivery Driver who is self-motivated, careful, enjoys working independently, and is open to performing a variety of tasks. This role involves driving established wholesale routes, making accurate deliveries, and assisting with other delivery tasks as needed. The position will also be cross-trained for production functions and will support other areas of the business as an all-star team player. The shift for this position is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Delivery experience
- Flexibility in their day-to-day
- A valid driver's license with no major points or accidents is required.
- A current, certified MVR will be needed.
- CDL B required
Nice To Haves
- DOT Medical Card is a plus
Responsibilities
- Driving established wholesale delivery routes – which may include Virginia Beach and DC.
- Making accurate deliveries
- Complete other delivery tasks as needed
- Assist other departments as needed
- Cross-trained to perform other production functions
- Act as an all-star team player while helping out in other areas as needed
