About The Position

The Wholesale Customer Account Manager (CAM) at Uniti serves as a critical liaison between customers and the Wholesale Business Unit, involved in both pre-sales and post-sales functions. This role supports Account Executives and directly engages with clients to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience. The position is pivotal in fostering customer-centric relationships that drive revenue growth and profitability, reflecting a commitment to delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional experience, ideally within customer operations, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Customer relationship skills and a solution focus
  • Experience in expanding adoption at enterprise customers
  • Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Understanding of the SD-WAN and UCaaS product suites and roadmap
  • Data and technology orientation
  • Technical ability to speak to customers.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain customer relationships and demonstrate empathy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Capability to analyze complex issues and communicate operational needs clearly.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, including time management, multitasking, and prioritization.
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual who can work independently or collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in initial calls with customers to establish a foundational relationship.
  • Facilitate the setup of new customer accounts.
  • Guide customers in using quoting/ordering systems, as well as managing trouble ticketing and maintenance subscriptions.
  • Aid sales teams and customers in submitting quotes through Customer Portal.
  • Attend meetings with customers when necessary to support sales efforts.
  • Ensure orders are processed by the Service Delivery team and that customers are informed about the personnel handling their orders.
  • Provide support related to the delivery of services.
  • Help with billing inquiries and issues.
  • Support inventory management and related queries.
  • Assist with the disconnection processes.
  • Aid in escalating issues to the Network Operations Center when necessary.
