About The Position

AECOM is seeking Wet Utilities Engineers and Designers at all levels to join their growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates will work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects. Key roles include Junior, Mid-level, and Senior level Wet Utilities Engineers, and Wet Utilities CAD Designers. Desired skillsets include experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects, experience with Bentley Microstation, experience in conveyance systems design for highways, experience with the design of all components of a highway water and sewer utility system in coordination with environmental, roadway, structures, signing, MOT, and temporary drainage, and experience on highway design for conveyance (manholes, pipes, distribution lines).

Requirements

  • CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
  • Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
  • Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
  • Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
  • Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
  • Experience with Bentley Microstation
  • Experience in conveyance systems design for highways
  • Experience with design of all components of a highway water and sewer utility system in coordination with environmental, roadway, structures, signing, MOT, and temporary drainage
  • Experience on a highway design for conveyance (manholes, pipes, distribution lines)

Nice To Haves

  • EIT Certification or PE License
  • State DOT experience
  • Experience using ORD software

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineering of wet utility systems for transportation projects.
  • Coordination with environmental, roadway, structures, signing, MOT, and temporary drainage teams.
  • Design of conveyance systems for highways, including manholes, pipes, and distribution lines.
  • Utilizing CAD software for design and drafting.
  • Working on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.
