About The Position

Do you take pride in producing high-quality finishes and knowing your work stands out the moment it leaves the booth? Prototek is looking for an experienced Wet Paint & Powder Coater III to join our growing manufacturing team in Concord, NH. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced sheet metal environment supporting aerospace, defense, medical, robotics, and advanced manufacturing customers. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, mentor others, and consistently produce high-quality finishes on complex parts.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
3+ years of wet paint and/or powder coating experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience in manufacturing, sheet metal, or industrial finishing environments
Strong blueprint reading and attention to detail
Comfortable wearing respirators and PPE
Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities
Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements

Responsibilities

Prep, mask, wash, paint, and powder coat sheet metal and machined parts
Apply simple to complex coatings with multiple finishes/colors
Operate spray guns, powder coat equipment, and curing ovens
Read prints and determine proper coatings and masking requirements
Mix paint per manufacturer specifications
Inspect finished parts and maintain quality standards
Train and mentor junior team members on finishing processes
Maintain equipment and support a clean, organized workspace
