About The Position

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for various roles at the Westside Recreation Center. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling options, including days, evenings, and weekends. The roles available include Lifeguards, Front Desk staff, Recreation Assistants, Maintenance personnel, and Certified Fitness Instructors.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Able to work up to 28 hours per week.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Lifeguard certification (for Lifeguard roles).
• Fitness instructor certification (for Certified Fitness Instructor roles).

Responsibilities

• Provide guest experiences throughout the facility (Recreation Assistants).
• Perform maintenance duties.
• Provide lifeguard services.
• Staff the front desk.
• Conduct fitness instruction (land and/or water).
