As a Western US Law Enforcement Sales Representative you will be responsible for the functions outlined below:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred with 4-7 years of experience or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the firearms, tactical, outdoor, or law enforcement industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of law enforcement procurement processes and agency operations
  • Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
  • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
  • ERP or other business systems experience.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines and pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
  • Strong computer software and Excel experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales goals and market growth objectives.
  • Identify, build, and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, procurement personnel, armorers, trainers, distributors, and key decision-makers for the purpose of closing new opportunities.
  • Conduct live-fire product demonstrations and armorers trainings for law enforcement agencies and dealer partners.
  • Responsible for the timely entry and management of customer quotations, requests for proposals (RFPs), order confirmations, and other administrative duties as required to support sales operations and customer service initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects, product launches, and strategic initiatives supporting military, international, and law enforcement sales efforts.
  • Attend and support regional and national trade shows, industry conferences, expos, and law enforcement events.
  • Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
  • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
