About The Position

This role involves leading the Western Hemisphere Inside Sales team to achieve company objectives. The manager will oversee the entire Sales Order lifecycle, from entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key responsibilities include providing pricing and margin oversight, training and developing the sales team, managing price lists, overseeing tender preparation, coordinating with Outside Sales, working with upper management on strategy, preparing sales KPI reports, collaborating with various internal departments, partnering with IT for system improvements, and implementing continuous improvement through LEAN methodologies.

Requirements

  • 7-10 Years Oil Industry experience
  • 3-5 years of Inside Sales experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills for margin analysis and pricing review
  • Creative, resilient, and driven by continuous improvement in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, CRM, or CPQ systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Western Hemisphere Inside Sales team to achieve company objectives.
  • Oversee the full Sales Order lifecycle, from entry through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide pricing and margin oversight for all quotations generated by the Western Hemisphere.
  • Train and develop Inside Sales team members to build a high-performance sales culture.
  • Manage Price Lists to support Master Service Agreements with Partner Accounts.
  • Oversee tender preparation activities to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
  • Coordinate with Outside Sales to ensure coverage and even workload.
  • Work with upper management regarding pricing strategy, profitability, and plant loading priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting with sales KPI metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (Legal, Compliance, Credit, Technical Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Logistics) to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with IT to improve sales applications, workflows, and system functionality.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement through LEAN methodologies.
