About The Position

The Litter worker picks up and disposes of litter from roadways per contracts. The hours are Mon-Fri 630a-230p. The pay is $14.50 per hour. This is located at the Ward Co. SRA, located near Monahans, TX.

Requirements

• The employee will be exposed to traffic.
• The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
• The employee will be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day at multiple locations.
• Able to reach with hands and arms.
• Must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
• Individual must be able to see and hear traffic.
• The employee must pass a drug screen, strength test, and WSC background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Picks up and disposes of defined litter on the right-of-way.
• Assists supervisor in set-up and removal of traffic warning signs.
