About The Position

We are seeking a Wendy's Wonderful Kids Adoption Recruiter to join our team. Your role will be expected to be agents of change in the lives of children for whom they are recruiting for an adoptive forever family by employing an intensive and exhaustive Child-Focused Recruitment Plan. You will implement all components of the evidence-based WWK model with fidelity. As a member of the MO Foster Care team, you will work with other team members and report to our Wendy's Wonderful Kids Adoption Manager. Cornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives. Each year, our team empowers children and families in Kansas, Missouri, and beyond through three key service areas: Youth & Family Support, Foster Care & Adoption, and Education & Community Trainings. Requirements

3-5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree is required.
At least 21 years of age
pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in
proof of current vehicle insurance
reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth case record review on all assigned adoption cases.
Develop relationship with child to help determine best placement.
Assess comprehensively child's strengths/needs.
Prepare child and family for adoption.
Network and maintain contact with child's team.
Develop customized recruitment plan for each child.
Conducts diligent search of potential families.
