About The Position

Supervises all wellsite activities including workover, completions, wireline, coil tubing, stimulation operations and associated field employees and contractors. This role requires the ability to be available 24 hours per day for on-call duties, emergencies, and questions. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining employee confidence, protecting company assets, and keeping information confidential. They contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed, adhering to company values such as integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation, and supporting the company's vision and mission. A key aspect of this role is to lead by example in building a safe work environment, adhering to industry safety standards and best practices, and providing clear leadership in all aspects of Health, Safety & Environmental protection. This includes providing regulatory guidance and communication for reporting to other departments and agencies, such as emissions reporting. The position also requires adherence to the established work schedule, attendance standards, and punctuality for work and meetings.

Requirements

Ten (10) years minimum experience in workover, completion, fishing and recompletion operations.
Ability to accurately solve problems.
Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials and the public.
Demonstrates the ability and willingness to remain aware of and direct the whole scope of simultaneous activities at the job site on a routine basis.
Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
Good management, administrative, and organizational skills.
Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure and dedicated to developing workforce.
Ability to efficiently manage contract employees.
Basic mathematic and mechanical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Current IADC well control certification or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience supervising acid and Frac stimulations.
Experience working in the San Juan Basin.

Responsibilities

Supervises all wellsite activities including workover, completions, wireline, coil tubing, and stimulation operations.
Supervises associated field employees and contractors.
Documents operations with daily progress reports in required systems such as WellView.
Monitors and maintains up-to-date communications with rig crews, vacuum truck drivers, transportation department, and field operators regarding current workovers/projects and changes.
Coordinates services with service companies (wireline, cementing, production equipment, etc.) to assure availability or special service requirements.
Provides information to service companies regarding workover procedures or delays to facilitate a cooperative, efficient, and safe workplace.
Obtains and coordinates bids from service providers.
Reviews daily costs on all active rig operations.
Supervises acid and Frac stimulations.
Provides cost estimates to assist operations engineers with authorization for expenditures (AFE).
Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
