Wellness Nurse (WA)
About The Position
Aegis Living Kirkland Waterfront is looking for a Nurse to provide quality care to our residents. This role offers consistent hours, a move away from fast-paced hospital environments, and opportunities for career growth into management. The Wellness Nurse is an integral member of the nursing team, contributing health care expertise to promote an environment of optimal living for senior residents through ongoing assessments and monitoring of their health and wellbeing. This position is within an Assisted Living and Memory Care community and is supported by a team of Caregivers, Medication Technicians, and the Health Services Director.
Requirements
- RN/ LPN License that is active and in good standing
- A passion to work with our amazing seniors!
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work hard, support your team and build fun into the job
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
Responsibilities
- Wound care
- Medication Management
- Provide nursing services to residents
- Communication with families and physicians
- Conduct fall risk assessments, skin assessments, pain assessments, Fast Scale assessments
- Hands-on nursing care
- Coordinate resident care with residents, families, and physicians
- Communicate care plan changes to staff
- Audit eMARS, med cart
- Participate in training of care staff
