Wellness Nurse (WA)
About The Position
Aegis Living Kirkland Waterfront is looking for a Nurse to provide quality care to our residents. This role offers consistent hours, a less fast-paced environment than hospitals, and opportunities for career growth into management. The Wellness Nurse is an integral member of the nursing team, contributing healthcare expertise to promote an optimal living environment for residents. Nurses will provide clinical expertise to senior residents through ongoing assessments and monitoring of their health and well-being. This is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community where nurses are supported by a team of Caregivers, Medication Technicians, and the Health Services Director.
Requirements
- RN/ LPN License that is active and in good standing
- A passion to work with our amazing seniors!
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work hard, support your team and build fun into the job
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
Responsibilities
- Wound care
- Medication Management
- Provide nursing services to residents
- Communication with families and physicians
- Conduct fall risk assessments, skin assessments, pain assessments, Fast Scale assessments
- Hands-on nursing care
- Coordinate resident care with residents, families, and physicians
- Communicate care plan changes to staff
- Audit eMARS, med cart
- Participate in training of care staff
