About The Position

Spring Arbor of Sevierville is seeking compassionate Wellness Nurses (LPNs) to join their growing nursing team. This role involves leading and supporting non-licensed associates, monitoring resident well-being in Assisted Living, guiding the team through daily assignments, coaching, and problem-solving. The Wellness Nurse will deliver resident care that meets provider orders, regulatory standards, and best nursing practices, including administering medications accurately, responding to changes in condition, and providing first aid. The Wellness Nurse (WN) is responsible for supervising the delivery of care and services to residents, performing procedures within the guidelines of state and local regulations and accepted standards of care. Ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, professional consultants, and third-party providers is critical.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Active LPN license in good standing
  • CPR/AED certification
  • 1+ year of LPN experience in senior care
  • A clean background check and commitment to a drug-free workplace
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computerized documentation systems
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
