About The Position

Hearthside Senior Living Bartlett is seeking a licensed Weekend Warrior Wellness Nurse (LPN) for our Assisted Living community. This role involves two 12-hour shifts every weekend, leaving the entire week open. It offers consistent, meaningful weekend work in a warm, resident-focused environment. Unlike hospitals or skilled nursing facilities, Hearthside is a smaller, more personal Assisted Living community where you'll build real relationships with residents and families, and where your clinical skills are genuinely valued. You'll work alongside a team that has your back and make a real difference.

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in good standing in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and a confident communicator.
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a supportive, resident-focused environment.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Rehab experience a plus.
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise delivery of care and services to residents.
  • Perform procedures within the guidelines of all state and local regulations and accepted standards of care.
  • Maintain ongoing communication between the Wellness Nurse, associates, residents and their families, professional consultants, and third-party providers.
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting resident needs.
  • Monitor the condition of residents in AL.
  • Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications.
  • Supervise the continuity of resident care.
  • Respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs.
  • Perform first aid as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
