About The Position
Aegis Living Bellevue Overlake is looking for a Nurse to provide quality care to our residents. This role offers consistent hours, a move away from fast-paced hospital environments, and opportunities for career growth into management. The Wellness Nurse will serve as a clinical expert, providing ongoing assessments and monitoring the health and wellbeing of senior residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. Support is provided by a team of Caregivers, Medication Technicians, and the Health Services Director.
Requirements
- RN/ LPN License that is active and in good standing
- A passion to work with our amazing seniors!
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work hard, support your team and build fun into the job
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
Responsibilities
- Wound care
- Medication Management
- Provide nursing services to residents
- Communication with families and physicians
- Conduct fall risk assessments, skin assessments, pain assessments, Fast Scale assessments
- Hands-on nursing care
- Coordinate resident care with residents, families, and physicians
- Communicate care plan changes to staff
- Audit eMARS, med cart
- Participate in training of care staff
