About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate and diligent Wellness Nurse to join our team at Pinnacle Groves. This part-time role involves leading by example in medication passing, assisting residents with personal care, and completing paperwork. You will be responsible for accurate and efficient resident assessments, medical record maintenance, and internal document filing. Requirements

Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulation.
Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents.
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
Ability to communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and community staff.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Lead team by example when passing medications, assisting residents with personal care, and completing paperwork.
Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
Ensure each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
Maintain and update effective service plans.
Supervise care staff.
