Wellness Floor Attendant
About The Position
The Downtown YMCA is Now Hiring for Wellness Floor Attendant. This is a part-time position with a pay range starting at $15 per hour, with the potential for more depending on experience. Shifts vary by location. The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for a friendly individual who loves fitness and enjoys helping others reach their wellness goals to join their team as a Wellness Floor Attendant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members in the Wellness Center, assisting them with equipment use, recommending wellness programs, and providing encouragement. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR Pro/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire
- YMCA wellness and safety certifications within 90 days
Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service or fitness experience is a bonus
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for healthy living
Responsibilities
- Greet members in the Wellness Center.
- Help members feel confident and comfortable with their workouts.
- Guide members on proper equipment use.
- Recommend wellness programs.
- Offer encouragement to members.
- Ensure the space stays clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
