About The Position
As a Wellness & Enrichment Director at Edgewood, you’ll get to make a difference by fulfilling the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of the most amazing folks on the planet – our residents! Edgewood Healthcare has been providing outstanding care and services for seniors since 1992. We offer senior living solutions in more than 60 beautiful communities across seven states in the Midwest. Edgewood Village is a 190-bed Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living community.
Requirements
- A desire to continue learning and improving your skillset
- Passion and drive for helping others
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in related field
- Prior experience in activities or recreation programming
Responsibilities
- Develop a monthly calendar of life enrichment activities
- Set up and run activities while providing resident oversight
- Order activity supplies
- Supervise a team of life enrichment assistants
- Operate within department budget
- Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
