About The Position

Her Campus is seeking a creative, efficient, organized, and detail-oriented Wellness Intern for the fall. The Wellness Intern will assist the editorial team with various editorial tasks, including writing and editing wellness articles, contributing to larger editorial projects, interviewing sources, and creating/optimizing SEO and e-commerce content. The role involves timely writing assignments for sections such as Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, and Wellness, with expectations to meet tight deadlines. Interns will be given high-level tasks and significant responsibility. This internship is available remotely.

Requirements

  • Current college undergraduate
  • Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of all Google for Work tools
  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic
  • Passionate about the Her Campus mission
  • A passion for all things Gen Z
  • Comfortable writing about mental health, relationships, sexual health and pleasure, and general wellness topics
  • Interest in writing, editing, research, college trends, and project management
  • An interest in creating content relevant to the wellness vertical

Responsibilities

  • Assist the editorial team with all things editorial-related
  • Write and edit relevant wellness articles
  • Work on larger editorial projects and packages
  • Interview talent and expert sources
  • Create and optimize SEO and e-commerce content
  • Complete timely writing assignments for Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, and Wellness sections, as well as astrology and more
  • Work on tight deadlines and turnarounds

Benefits

  • Stipend provided: $750 for working up to 12 hours weekly; $1,000 for working 20+ hours weekly.
