Wellness Director
About The Position
Addison at Port Orange, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Wellness Director. This premier retirement community in Port Orange, FL, provides quality care to residents in an assisted living and memory care community. The role involves assuring the implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care and overseeing all health-related services. The Wellness Director will manage, coordinate, and direct activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as community policies. This includes establishing working relationships with healthcare professionals in the community and interacting with residents' healthcare providers. The position also involves performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
- A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
- Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
- Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
- Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
