About The Position

Redmond Heights Senior Living is seeking a passionate and dedicated Wellness Director to join their team. This management-level nursing position involves direct patient contact and integration with patient care. The role is responsible for coordinating, training, scheduling, and developing the nursing staff, as well as managing their continuing education and overseeing an ongoing quality assurance program. The Wellness Director will also assist in planning nursing services for resident discharge and participate in facility surveys by government agencies. Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
• 1 year of Wellness Director/ Management experience.
• Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor).
• Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains direct contact with patients and integration with patient care.
• Responsible for coordinating, training, scheduling, and team development among the nursing staff.
• Manages the continuing education of the nursing staff.
• Maintains an ongoing quality assurance program.
• Assists in planning the nursing services portion of resident discharge plans.
• Leads others through actions consistent with and serve our culture.
• Participates in facility surveys by government agencies.
