About The Position

Functional Pathways is seeking a Part-time Wellness Coordinator to join their therapy team at Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers, FL. Shell Point is the largest Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the nation, offering a resort-style, non-profit, single-site CCRC life plan community. The community spans a 3-mile waterfront campus along the Caloosahatchee River and provides a vibrant lifestyle for 2,800 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing. The Wellness Coordinator will work in a state-of-the-art setting and make a meaningful impact on residents' lives. Functional Pathways emphasizes a supportive family environment, ethical care, innovation, and customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution preferred, Exercise Science and/or Sports medicine related field.
• Must hold current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• ACSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of wellness classes and programming for their campus(es).
• Lead classes.
• Develop programming.
• Conduct fitness testing.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping for all wellness services provided through Functional Pathways.
